I have visited Tereza Zelenkovas website and found that she has already made a number of books, some in very small editions, artists´ books. ›Supreme Vice‹ is also among them, in another version, much larger in size, to scroll like a calendar and of course a lot more expensive. This issue of Mörel Books is simple but nicely done and published in a limited edition of 250.
The black and white photographed series shows atmospherically strong, mystical landscapes with images of people, skin and bones interweaved. Together with some other close-ups it´s a short, irritating but inspiring trip.
I am curious if we hear and see more from the photographer in the future.
